Goodwood Festival of Speed

American Mike Skinner and his rowdy American supporters have become somewhat of a mainstay at the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the years.

Competing in the annual hill climb event since the mid-2000s, Skinner now races in the annual festival alongside his friend and team owner Andrew Franzone.

The three-time back-to-back defending champion of the NASCAR class, Skinner also holds the record time for the NASCAR class with a 50.22-second run up the 1.16-mile hill climb, which he set in 2015. Held at the iconic Goodwood House in West Sussex, England, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is a celebration of motor sports, as more than 200,000 spectators flock to the festival daily.

Today, the Franzone-Skinner team takes three NASCAR-style trucks to the event, allowing them to fill the team out with a variety of drivers and teammates including U.S. military veterans, up-and-coming development drivers and celebrity racers.
