In a race that attracts the best & brightest talent of late model stock car racing, Skinner put on a clinic at the 2019 Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway. In a dramatic drive, the 62-year-old had to recover from a lap three accident to race through the field–not once, but twice–before he was able to drive into Victory Lane for the Pro Late Model Division. It was Skinner’s first win at the half-mile since his 2005 NASCAR Truck Series victory.
